our story

Living on a small hobby farm with our family in the rolling hills of southern Iowa gives us great joy!  Raising animals has been a passion of ours for many years. We feel very blessed to be able to pass down our deep love for caring for all animals to the next generation! We have a small purebred Charolais and Red Angus herd, boer goats, suffolk sheep, bunnies, chickens, emus (yes emus!) and 1 painted pony we affectionally call Emily!  Growing a big garden, renting out RV's to families, and making concrete statuary are just a few of our favorite tools to educate our kids on entrepreneurship!

We have been home educating with a delight directed approach for the past 9 years.  This allows our kids plenty of time to help in all aspects of the farm, especially caring for our dogs and puppies. Nurturing and socializing our parent dogs and their puppies is extremely satisfying, everyone has a part in helping raise our well rounded puppies! It is our goal to raise healthy, well rounded life long companions! We love helping others grow their families by 4 paws!

We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and building relationships with so many families all over the country over the years! This makes it all worth while for us! God has truly blessed our family!
